CTL has launched a new 14 inch laptop with an Intel Sandy Bridge processor and Ubuntu Linux operating system. Notebooks sporting higher-end Intel processors usually run the Windows operating system. The CTL MB40U, on the other hand, comes pre-loaded with the open source Ubuntu 11.10 ‘Oneiric Ocelot’ 64-bit operating system which has a wide range of free apps written for it.
