AMD TO LAUNCH LOW POWER KRISHNA AND WICHITA CHIPS NEXT YEAR

AMD will reportedly launch a new line of low power notebook and tablet chips next year. The upcoming processors are the dual core Krishna and the Wichita which can support up to four cores.

A leaked product map shows that the Krishna processor will have dual cores, entry level graphics and a maximum power draw of 8W. That means it will be even more power efficient than the 9W AMC C-Series
