AMD has never really had a dedicated line of processors for the netbook and ultra thin laptop segment. But the sky-rocketing popularity of these mini-laptops has forced AMD to re-think its decision. And today the chipmaker unveiled its Nile platform for ultrathin notebooks.The new processors are available in single and dual core versions and will consume between 9 and 15 watts of power.PC makers
