HP SLATE UPDATED WITH ATOM Z670 PROCESSOR AND SSD

HP has updated its Windows 7 tablet with a faster 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 Oak Trail processor and a solid state disk.

The HP Slate 500 launched a little over a year ago. It is aimed at business users. The upgraded model will, reportedly, get more battery life and offer more security features. It will also have a flat back panel. The tablet will start shipping later this month for $699 and up.
