OVER 500,000 BLACKBERRY PLAYBOOKS SHIPPED, SAYS RIM

RIM says that it has shipped more than half a million BlackBerry PlayBooks since the tablet's launch in April. Not bad, especially when you consider the fact that few apps are available for the tablet at the moment.

The PlayBook is a 7 inch tablet with a 1024 x 600 pixels display. It is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor. The tablet runs BlackBerry Tablet OS which is based on the QNX software
