AMD TO LAUNCH NEW FUSION CHIPS FOR LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS

AMD is expected to launch new Fusion processors for mainstream laptops and desktops during the third quarter of this year. The AMD Fusion platform has integrated graphics and CPU cores on a single piece of silicon. The Fusion chips are power efficient. They also deliver decent performance. The first Fusion-based processors to ship were the AMD C-30 and C-50 Ontario and E-350 Zacate APUs. These
