The folks behind the MeeGo Linux project has launched MeeGo 1.1. MeeGo is based on the Moblin and Maemo Linux projects. It is available for netbooks, smartphones and in-vehicle entertainment systems. While MeeGo is an independent project, it is the architecture used in other Linux distributions. So it won't be long before we see versions of Linpus, Ubuntu and other operating systems using MeeGo's
