VELOCITY MICRO ANNOUNCES CHEAP ANDROID TABLETS

Velocity Micro has announced a line of Android tablets that could cost between $149 and $299. The first machines to hit the market will be the $199 Cruz Reader and the $149 Cruz StoryPad. Both tablets have 7 inch touchscreen displays with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. They are due out in August.The Cruz Reader is more than an eBook reader.
