The Toshiba Excite tablet is now up for order in the UK where retailer Carphone Warehouse is offering the 10 inch machine for 399 pounds and up. The device is not yet available in the US.

The Toshiba Excite is thinner and lighter than the Toshiba Thrive. On the flip side, it doesn’t have a removable battery or full-sized SD card, USB or HDMI output ports. The Thrive had all of these features.

Fujitsu has launched a new 7 inch tablet in Japan. The Fujitsu Stylistic M350/CA2 is aimed at enterprise customers. It has a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It measures 0.55 inches in thickness and weighs 0.9 pounds. Other specifications include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and HDMI output port. It is not exactly clear which processor it has.
